"Setting up SQL Server connections for agent querying" matching MCP tools:

  • Query synaptic connectivity between Drosophila neuron classes across ALL connectome datasets simultaneously for comparative connectomics. This is NOT pre-cached — it runs live queries, so expect slow responses (up to several minutes). Set both upstream_type AND downstream_type to filter connections between two specific neuron classes (e.g., "What Tm1→T3 connections exist across all datasets?"). At least one of upstream_type or downstream_type is required. CONSTRAINTS: Only accepts neuron class terms (OWL IDs like FBbt_00003789 or labels like "transmedullary neuron Tm1") — anatomical regions or neuropils (e.g., "lobula", "medulla") are NOT accepted. NOT suitable for individual neuron-to-neuron connections — for pre-computed connections of a single individual neuron, use run_query with NeuronNeuronConnectivityQuery instead. NOT for muscle/sense organ connections. RECOMMENDED DEFAULTS: weight=5, exclude_dbs=["hb","fafb"] unless user specifies otherwise. For both-ends queries, start with weight≥50 to avoid timeouts. RESULT SIZE: a broad query is enormous (a single class at weight=5 can be over 50,000 connections), so results are ranked strongest-first and paged — you get limit rows (default 50) plus a summary computed over ALL of them: totals, per-dataset counts, distinct neuron counts, and the top class pairs. Answer from the summary and quote a handful of rows; only page with offset if the user asks for specific further rows. WORKFLOW: Confirm parameters with user before querying. Use search_terms with filter_types ["neuron","class"] to validate/canonicalize neuron type labels. If zero results, try relaxation: lower weight to 1, then remove exclude_dbs filter, then try group_by_class=true — report what worked and let user decide. group_by_class=true is usually the better first call on a broad query: it aggregates to class pairs instead of returning every neuron pair.

  • Run a read-only SQL query against an app's Postgres database and return up to 200 result rows. SELECT only — writes and DDL (INSERT/UPDATE/DELETE/ALTER/DROP/…) are rejected server-side; use vibekit_chat or vibekit_submit_task to have the agent make data or schema changes. Call vibekit_db_schema first to learn the tables. SQL string, max 5000 chars.

  • List available exascale.build data capabilities for agent discovery before querying. Also call this BEFORE stating that a capability is not available — client tool lists are cached and this surface grows; anything listed here is reachable via query_capability_v1 even if your tool list predates it.

  • Agent Brain — Reason over a question or task with your agent's own persistent memory in the loop: recalls up to 12 relevant memories from your agent's private scope, reasons with Claude, and writes up to 3 new memories back, so the agent improves with every call. Recall by meaning, not just keyword, when the estate's memory server is reachable (falls back to its own always-on store otherwise — never fails the call). Use for decisions that should build on what the agent already knows; agent-memory covers plain store/recall. Runs claude-haiku-4.5 — the response names the model that served the call; agent-brain-smart runs the identical contract on claude-sonnet-5. Input: {think: string}. Returns {answer, reasoning, confidence, memories_considered, used_memories, learned, model, engine}. (8 MESH/call, a tool · cognition)

  • Anonymous bug report / feature request / docs gap, queued for human review. Default routing: `public-feedback` inbox (general AILANG). Pass `package="vendor/name"` (e.g. "sunholo/auth") to route to that package's `pkg:vendor/name` inbox where its autonomous agent watches. Categories: bug, feature, docs, limitation. Body limit 10KB, snippet limit 4KB. Optional contact field for follow-up; opaque to the server. Set `auto_dispatch=true` to authorize the package agent to act on your submission immediately (default false — files for human triage; pkg-feedback agent template lands in a separate sprint).

  • Get all active legal documents an agent must accept on registration. The list of required document types is configurable via the AgentTermsDocumentTypes application setting — typically includes Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, Agent Platform Terms, and Trust and Safety. Each document includes its type reference, name, version, effective date, and full markdown content. Call this before register_agent so you know what the agent is accepting when setting acceptedTerms=true. No authentication required.

  • List the SQL databases (D1 or Neon Postgres) on my account, including which owned site (if any) each is attached to. Call this BEFORE db_query/db_schema-style work to discover a databaseId — those live on a per-database MCP server reached via GET /api/v1/databases/{id} (see llms.txt), which this id feeds.

  • Translate a plain-language question into a candidate SQL query using pattern-matching against the live schema (no AI model — simple questions only: counts, averages, filtered selects on a named table). Returns the SQL without executing it, with a confidence score; low confidence means the table was guessed. Review the statement and tables_used, then run it with scalix_db_query. For complex questions, read scalix_db_schema and write the SQL directly.

  • Marine wave and ocean conditions for a coastal or ocean coordinate: wave height, wave period, wave direction, wind-wave height, swell height, sea-surface temperature. Forecast horizon up to 8 days, with optional past_days (up to 92) for recent history — or start_date and end_date together for an archive range, which returns real wave values back to at least 2022. One window per call: a date range is mutually exclusive with forecast_days and past_days, and needs both ends — a lone start_date or end_date is rejected. Returns per-timestamp records — each entry contains a "time" field plus one key per requested variable. Best for open-ocean and coastal exposed points — sheltered inland waters return near-zero wave values. Common hourly variables: wave_height, wave_direction, wave_period, wind_wave_height, wind_wave_direction, wind_wave_period, swell_wave_height, swell_wave_direction, swell_wave_period. Common daily: wave_height_max, wave_direction_dominant, wave_period_max. Note: ocean_current_velocity is null for non-open-ocean coordinates. A wide window — a large past_days or date range plus many variables — produces thousands of records; these spill to DataCanvas for SQL querying when canvas is enabled, and return a bounded preview with truncated: true when it is not.

  • Import the user's trace file (GPX, TCX, IGC, SBP or FIT, max 8 MiB) into THEIR SportsTrackLive account permanently — full analysis, 3D replay, appears in their profile with their default privacy setting. REQUIRES the user to be connected via OAuth (this MCP server supports it; the client starts the flow). For a user without an account, use create_ephemeral_replay instead. Provide the file exactly like analyze_activity_file (upload_id / file_url / file_base64).

  • Execute a read-only SQL query against the target connection. ONLY SELECT / WITH / EXPLAIN permitted. Write dialect-appropriate SQL for the connection's engine — use PostgreSQL syntax for postgres connections (`SELECT NOW()`, `LIMIT`, `ILIKE`), T-SQL for mssql (`SELECT GETDATE()`, `TOP N`, `LIKE`), MySQL for mysql (`SELECT NOW()`, `LIMIT`). Response meta includes `connection` + `dialect` so you know which syntax worked; reuse that dialect in follow-up calls. Default LIMIT 100 unless the user asks for all rows.

  • Answer "is this network caught up?" with indexing freshness, lag, heads, and available tables. COMMON USER ASKS: - Is Base caught up? FIRST CHOICE FOR: - checking indexing head, lag, tables, and capabilities for one network WHEN TO USE: - You want to know whether a network is indexed, fresh, caught up, or behind before querying. - You need chain family, real-time status, or available tables for a network. DON'T USE: - You only need the latest block or slot number. EXAMPLES: - Is Base caught up?: {"network":"base-mainnet"}

  • Agent-friendly contact enrichment. On the first call provide contacts and enrich_fields; the server starts the job and polls internally for up to ~25s. If still running, returns {status:"pending", continuation_token, attempt, elapsed_seconds} — you MUST immediately call run_contact_enrich again with only continuation_token set. Do not ask the user. Typical jobs finish within 5 attempts. On completion the response contains record_ids and full contact records.

  • Generate the complete file content for a Next.js App Router upload route handler — typed file router, handler export, correct path comment. When to use: when the user is setting up UploadKit server-side in a Next.js App Router project and needs the `app/api/uploadkit/[...uploadkit]/route.ts` file created. The returned string is a complete, compilable TypeScript file — write it to disk as-is. Returns: a markdown-formatted string containing the target path and the complete TS source inside a fenced code block. You must create the file at the literal path `app/api/uploadkit/[...uploadkit]/route.ts`. Read-only — generates text, never touches the filesystem itself.

  • Initiates the creation of a Cloud SQL instance. * The tool returns a long-running operation. Use the `get_operation` tool to poll its status until the operation completes. * The instance creation operation can take several minutes. Use a command line tool to pause for 30 seconds before rechecking the status. * After you use the `create_instance` tool to create an instance, you can use the `create_user` tool to create an IAM user account for the user currently logged in to the project. * IMPORTANT: Set `ipv4_enabled` to 'false' if creating a Private Service Connect or a Private Service Access instance. * Set `free_trial` to 'true' to create a free trial instance. Free trial instances let you test majority of Cloud SQL features for up to 30 days without financial commitment. Subject to eligibility and availability. * The value of `data_api_access` is set to `ALLOW_DATA_API` by default. This setting lets you execute SQL statements using the `execute_sql` tool and the `executeSql` API. Unless otherwise specified, a newly created instance uses the default instance configuration of a development environment. The following is the default configuration for an instance in a development environment: ``` { "tier": "db-perf-optimized-N-2", "data_disk_size_gb": 100, "region": "us-central1", "database_version": "POSTGRES_18", "edition": "ENTERPRISE_PLUS", "availability_type": "ZONAL", "tags": [{"environment": "dev"}] } ``` The following configuration is recommended for an instance in a production environment: ``` { "tier": "db-perf-optimized-N-8", "data_disk_size_gb": 250, "region": "us-central1", "database_version": "POSTGRES_18", "edition": "ENTERPRISE_PLUS", "availability_type": "REGIONAL", "tags": [{"environment": "prod"}] } ``` The following instance configuration is recommended for SQL Server: ``` { "tier": "db-perf-optimized-N-8", "data_disk_size_gb": 250, "region": "us-central1", "database_version": "SQLSERVER_2022_STANDARD", "edition": "ENTERPRISE", "availability_type": "REGIONAL", "tags": [{"environment": "prod"}] } ```

  • Historical weather from the ERA5 reanalysis archive (1940–present). Requires start_date and end_date (ISO 8601 date, e.g., "2024-07-01"). ERA5 has a variable lag of up to ~5 days — for dates within the last week, use openmeteo_get_forecast with past_days instead. Uses the same variable names as the forecast API for direct comparison. Large date ranges (multi-year hourly) produce thousands of records — these spill to DataCanvas for SQL querying when canvas is enabled, and return a bounded preview with truncated: true when it is not. At least one of hourly_variables or daily_variables is required.

  • GloFAS (Global Flood Awareness System) river discharge forecast and historical reanalysis. Returns daily ensemble river discharge (m³/s) for the river nearest to the given coordinates — no river ID needed, the API snaps to the nearest stream. Forecast horizon up to 210 days ahead; reanalysis history back to 1984-01-01. One mode per call: forecast_days for the future outlook, or start_date and end_date together for reanalysis history. The two modes are mutually exclusive, and a date range needs both ends — a lone start_date or end_date is rejected. Available daily variables: "river_discharge" (ensemble mean), "river_discharge_mean", "river_discharge_min", "river_discharge_max", "river_discharge_median", "river_discharge_p25" (25th percentile), "river_discharge_p75" (75th percentile). Returns null for coordinates far from any river or in areas without GloFAS coverage. A wide reanalysis range produces thousands of daily records and spills to DataCanvas for SQL querying when canvas is enabled, returning a bounded preview with truncated: true when it is not.
