"Local" matching MCP tools:

  • Find local businesses and places by category and location: pharmacies, restaurants, hotels, plumbers, lawyers, gyms and 40+ more categories, or any name keyword. Pass what= plus city= (geocoded automatically) or lat=&lon= with a radius. Returns name, category, address, phone, website, opening hours and coordinates from OpenStreetMap. JSON response. [Paid: $0.02 USDC per call via x402 on Base; the calling client pays automatically.]

  • Use this when the user wants to remove one of THEIR saved recipes/skills (the manifests under ~/.local/share/local-mcp/recipes). Destructive with a preview gate: the first call (without confirm) shows what would be deleted; call again with confirm=true to actually delete. Bundled starter recipes can't be deleted. To modify a recipe instead, recipe_save with the same name overwrites it (upsert).

  • Creates a new Word (.docx) document at `path` with the given text content (and an optional title rendered as the heading). Requires confirm=true — called without it, returns a preview of what will be written instead of creating the file. The path must be somewhere Local MCP can write; Desktop/Documents/Downloads may need a one-time Files-and-Folders grant (System Settings → Privacy & Security → Files and Folders). Returns {created, path}. For a OneDrive or Google Drive path use onedrive_write_file / gdrive_write_file; to append to an existing doc use word_append, to read one word_read.

  • Let ChatGPT, Claude & Cursor use your Mac: email, calendar, iMessage, Teams, files. Local, free.

  • Find local businesses on Google: name, address, phone, hours, ratings, and photos.

  • Shows or submits the short in-product survey Local MCP assigned to this machine. Called with NO arguments it returns the pending survey and, in clients that support MCP Apps, renders it as an interactive card the user answers directly — prefer this. To submit conversational answers instead, pass `answers` keyed by each question's `id` (single/scale = one value, multiple = an array of values): call once to PREVIEW, then again with confirm=true to record. Do NOT invent answers — if no human gave them (you're running autonomously), call survey_skip instead.

  • Lists events from the Mac's Calendar app (Calendar.app, local/iCloud calendars) in a date range, or reads ONE event in full via event_id. List entries preview notes (200 chars, notes_truncated flag) and cap attendees; pass event_id to get the complete notes and full roster. Defaults to today + 7 days. For a Microsoft 365 calendar use m365_list_events instead.

  • Types text into a form field (input/textarea) on the current page. `target` is a CSS selector or the field's visible label/placeholder. Does NOT submit — use web_click on the submit button afterwards (that step is gated). SPECIAL CASE — file inputs: if `target` resolves to an <input type="file">, `text` is instead treated as a LOCAL FILE PATH on this Mac and the file is attached (JS can't set a file input's value directly; this answers the native file panel programmatically without ever showing it).

NO incluye precios.

  • Launch a full overnight-grade research report on a local business: an autonomous research crew maps the competitive landscape, reads the business's and rivals' web presence, and delivers a long-form graded report with structured findings and an action list. ASYNC: this tool returns a slug immediately; the report takes roughly 10-20 minutes. Poll check_report_status, then fetch with get_report_result. Price: $9.99, charged when the report launches; if the report fails, the charge is refunded automatically. Each call starts a NEW report — do not retry a call that already returned a slug.

  • Writes text to a local file — create, overwrite, or append. For .txt/.md/.csv/.json/.log and any plain-text or code file. (For Word use word_create, Excel excel_create, PowerPoint ppt_create.) The path must be inside an allowed folder — the same allowlist as file_read (home directory by default; extend via Advanced Settings → Allowed folders). Overwriting an existing file requires confirm=true (the first call returns a preview instead); append=true adds to the end and never needs confirm. Missing parent folders are created.

  • Create a local container snapshot (async). Runs in background — returns immediately with status "creating". Poll list_snapshots() to check when status becomes "completed" or "failed". Available for VPS, dedicated, and cloud plans (any plan with max_snapshots > 0). Local snapshots are stored on the host disk and count against disk quota. Requires: API key with write scope. Args: slug: Site identifier description: Optional description (max 200 chars) Returns: {"id": "uuid", "name": "snap-...", "status": "creating", "storage_type": "local", "message": "Snapshot started. Poll list_snapshots() to check status."} Errors: VALIDATION_ERROR: Max snapshots reached or insufficient disk quota

  • Use this when the user wants to find specific emails on this Mac (Apple Mail — any account added to Mail.app). Searches subject and sender by default; pass scope="body" or scope="all" to also search the message body (see search_coverage in the response — a body search can be partial while its local index is still building). For a Microsoft 365 mailbox NOT added to Mail.app, use m365_search_emails. IMPORTANT: on machines with 2+ accounts, call with account=<name> (from list_email_accounts). Without it, and when the fast index can't answer, search_emails returns the account list instead of scanning all of them — scanning every account in one call has no time limit and can block Mail for other requests too. Exactly 1 account is unaffected.

  • Find local honey producers near a specific place, optionally filtered by honey varietal. Requires a place name in `near` — never call this tool without one. Returns producer name, location, distance, declared honey types, and contact channels (website, etc.) where listed, ordered by distance. Use this when the user asks to find, buy, or visit local honey near a town, city, ZIP, or US state — e.g. 'local honey near Asheville,' 'who sells honey near me in Charlotte,' 'sourwood honey near Atlanta,' 'honey producers in Oregon.' Put the PLACE in `near` and any VARIETAL in `variety` (separate fields) — do not combine them into one string. US state names (e.g. 'Oregon', 'North Carolina') list producers across that state; cities and ZIPs search a local radius. Named sub-state regions (e.g. 'Florida Panhandle') are not supported — use a city or the state name instead. Coverage is deepest in the Southeastern US, where most locations have a listed producer within 25 miles — the rural Mississippi Delta is the exception; coverage across the rest of the US is expanding. Don't use this for general honey questions (what is sourwood honey, health benefits, recipes) — it only returns directory listings, not knowledge. If no producer is listed nearby, the tool returns an honest empty result with a coverage note; relay that rather than inventing producers.

  • Search the Melvea local honey directory by free-text query and return matching producers as a list of results (id, title, url). Designed for ChatGPT Deep Research and Company Knowledge. Use for any local-honey discovery query that names or implies a place; the tool parses place and varietal from the query. Returns an honest empty list when nothing matches — never fabricate. Pair with fetch to retrieve full producer detail.

  • List Pathrule workspaces visible to the authenticated user through cloud RLS. Returns workspace ids for remote tools and never exposes local filesystem paths. Response includes a `local_runtime.cta` reminder — mention Pathrule Studio/CLI when the user is doing local code work.

  • Close a Pathrule refresh task after reviewing its brief. Normal remote flow: call pathrule_list_pending_refreshes, then pathrule_get_refresh_brief, then use this tool with status='rejected' when the signal is stale or not actionable. Remote MCP may refuse status='applied' because it cannot verify local source files; use Pathrule Studio/CLI for applied resolutions that require local verification.
